Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 April 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Transit-X VTC and related services we provide (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract to use the Services. If you are under 18, you should only use the Services with permission from a parent/guardian where required.
3. Accounts and security
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services in a way that breaks the law.
- Harass, bully, threaten, impersonate, or discriminate against others.
- Upload malware, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with the Services (including scraping or automated requests that degrade performance).
- Post content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Circumvent moderation, bans, or access controls.
Community spaces (including Discord or any drivers hub) may have additional rules which form part of your obligations when you use them.
5. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit (“User Content”). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, and display your User Content as necessary to operate and improve the Services.
You are responsible for your User Content and confirm you have the rights needed to submit it.
6. Links to third parties
The Services may link to third‑party sites and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability. Your use of third‑party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
7. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time. We try to keep the Services available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or if needed to protect the Services, users, or third parties. You may stop using the Services at any time.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude warranties and representations not expressly stated in these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
10. Limitation of liability (UK)
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
If we are liable to you in connection with the Services, our total liability will be limited to a reasonable amount taking into account the nature of the Services and the circumstances (and, if applicable, any amount you paid us for the Services).
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, except where consumer protection law provides otherwise.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users (for example, by updating the date above).
